Located on a plateau overlooking the southern coast of Sicily, ancient Akragas was founded in 582 BC. by Greek colonists from Gela. We will visit an area that is outside the walls of the modern city; The main tourist attractions are: the Greek temples, theaters and the archaeological museum, where some of the most prestigious finds are preserved.
In the Valley of the Temples there are the ruins of many temples, the necropolis, the houses and all the original urban plan of the Greek colony. After visiting the archaeological area we will drive to the Agrigento coast, exactly in the San Leone district, for a short walk and to enjoy a delicious homemade ice cream.
